This is a commission and royalty free site! You keep all your commissions and/or royalties when you license or sell your songs, music, lyrics, or poems on Songpress! You pay only membership and transaction fees.
So, how does it work?
- The seller will complete an advertisement information sheet that may be downloaded from this site. That sheet and the applicable item files will be forwarded to the site admin for listing on behalf of the member. Only site personnel may list items for sale on the site. Site personnel will then list the item per the documentation and file(s) provided. Any issues found with the documentation and file(s) provided will be addressed with the seller.
- Like any other consignment store, the buyer pays the consignment store which in turn pays the seller per the site terms and conditions. Only the payment transactions fee(s) are deducted from the payment.
- For copyright sales, the buyer may contact the seller via site chat if they wish to make an offer that is lower than the advertised price. Seller emails are not advertised for privacy reasons. If the seller wishes to negotiate with the buyer, they may. Once the parties agree on the price(s), the seller will advise the site admin of the new price which will be entered into the item listing for processing. The buyer accepts the price agreement by making the applicable payment, and downloads the applicable file(s) in accordance with the site terms and conditions.
- For licensing sales, the buyer agrees to the pricing and the standard Songpress .org licensing agreement by making the applicable payment. Licensing prices are firm.
- All payments to the seller will be made by the site in accordance with the terms and conditions for using the site.
